Location<\/h2>\n\n

The Mafalda trattoria, nestled in the greenery of the Conero Park, is located just 4 km from the sea at Portonovo. The trattoria was established back in 1970 and bears the name of Mrs. Mafalda, who ran the trattoria until a few years ago, together with her family.Today the trattoria is run by Pino, who offers his customers dishes cooked with the typical products of our region.The dishes at Trattoria Mafalda are all cooked express; the pasta, bread and desserts are all our own production.<\/p>\n\n

          Appetizers include the eggplant scomposta alla parmigiana, the careful selection of local cured meats and cheeses, the potato, clam and sausage terrine, and the eggplant and cod parmigiana.Those who love seafood should not miss the tagliatelle with “moscioli” (mussels from the Slow Food Presidium of Portonovo Bay), the chitarra alla Favignana with fresh tuna or the octopus with radicchio, potatoes and cherry tomatoes.Among the meat dishes on the menu there is never a shortage of tagliatelle with meat sauce, black salt beef tagliata, and Fassone battuta (Slow Food La Granda Presidium) with fresh vegetables.Mafalda’s desserts are characterized by their simplicity, tradition and authenticity of ingredients.There is never a shortage of the typical Nutella “ciambell\u00f2,” blueberry jam tart, Catalan cream and meringue pie with ice cream, as well as mixed cookies to enjoy with sweet wine.With the arrival of warm weather, everything will be served on the rooftop terrace!<\/p>\n\n

          The restaurant is located in the lower part of Poggio, a hamlet of Ancona abutting the north side of Mount C\u00f2nero. Coming from Ancona: drive along the C\u00f2nero road to the junction for Portonovo: 600mt later there is a crossroads; here turn left and go uphill. From Numana and Sirolo: drive along the C\u00f2nero road: past Massignano, 200m after the sports field, turn right and go downhill.
